A sad story

I've heard this story from somewhere else. I think it's quite touching. It's a true story happened somewhere in Singapore.

There is this little boy whose father passed away cos of cancer when he was 4 or 5. Then his mother worked hard to bring up him and his siblings.

The boy wasn't very bright, but then he worked hard and get into a local university. The family wasn't rich cos the mother is the only one working, so he had to get some teaching awards from MOE to finance his studies.

When he finally got his honours and finished his1 year of training at NIE, he thought it's time his mother can finally retire and enjoy life after all the sufferings all these years. But then on the very last day when he finally got his posting on where to teach, his mother revealed to him that she had last stage breast cancer, wont be living for long. She didn't wan him to get worried and affect his studies through the years so she didn't tell him.

ARGH..... why like that? why the world so unfair. As in I dunno that person la, but it's one of my sis's friend in NIE.
